I changed job. I used to have something called EHP Insurance. Paid for a very expensive surgery, but the deductibles were applied to 20% of everything.
Now I have CareFirst BlueChoice Advantage POS. Holy crap, this insurance is much better. My monthly blood tests (costing $150) cost me $0. My ER visit cost only $100 for overnight stay. The chronic conditions are essentially all free (e.g. diabetes, blood thinners).
So pleased.
