My new employer doesn’t offer KP. Full price Kaiser Permanente through Marketplace is too much, how can I keep it?

I was with a job 15 years, had Kaiser Permanente. Lost my coverage when I lost my job.

Got a different job, signed up for insurance (family of 3 coverage) and a lot was taken out of my paycheck for it..about $850 a month Im trying to stay on top of my mental health and couldn’t find any psychiatrists/therapy who accepts this insurance AND has any availability. Months go by with no meds. I regret enrolling in their insurance, the money from my check felt like it was for nothing.

My mom gets sick, I guit the job, she passes away. I have difficulty finding a new job so I get Medicaid. I get Kaiser back through them…I’m happy, I can see my doctors, they have my records, I can get my meds, it makes me less anxious…

I finally find a new job, (that I haven’t started yet) and they don’t offer Kaiser. I have 30 days to enroll in their coverage. I will lose my KP doctors, and have to start a search for new ones…hard to do when I’ll be working full-time during business hours. I don’t know how long I can stay at this job because it still doesn’t meet the salary I was making, but I need some work.

I know I won’t be able to afford Kaiser at full price through the marketplace. My salary will still be low enough for subsidy but I won’t get it because my new job will offer coverage. I’m worried about running into the same issues finding a psychiatrist, and also losing money from my paycheck paying for coverage if I don’t stay long enough to use it.

Am I just SOL?
