[NC] Aetna Help

  • I am middle-aged.
  • I am in relatively poor health with a high BMI but no chronic or incidental conditions other than some hormone issues
  • I do well financially
  • My partner is similarly situated to me medically

Our choices are:

  • Aetna EPO 0 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna EPO 1000 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna EPO 2000 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 300 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 750 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 1000 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 2000 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 3000 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 5000 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 6350 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna PPO 7150 Southeast/N FL
  • Aetna HDHP 3000 Southeast/N FL

The HDHP plan feels wrong to me, but the PPO 7150 is $0 cost for pretty decent coverage after the deductible. My current plan is a POS in NY, for which I paid almost $12000 in 2020 – no POS is available for me in NC. I don’t visit out of network providers in NY but I may in NC/GA. What plan should I choose?
