I’m a public school teacher in North Carolina, I have health coverage with BCBS through my employer. After trying to get a prescription refilled, my doctor’s office told me that I’m no longer covered under the information they’ve had on me previously. I’ve made no changes to my plan and haven’t received any notification about anything from BCBS. I can’t get in touch with them because their offices are closed for the holidays and I have no idea when they will reopen, same thing with my employer’s benefits specialist.
Is there any way just to find out if I’m really not covered anymore? What in the hell could have happened? Thanks in advance, I really don’t know where to go from here.
