Can anyone point me in the right direction for the following situation: American citizen parent 64 y/o has been a resident of Nevada until she moved to Mexico in 2020, uninsured. Parent caught covid, developed a blood clot, was hospitalized and medically evacuated out of Mexico into Arizona due to being in critical condition (mechanical ventilator).
I am a resident of Mexico, my mom will be coming home w/ me to Nevada once her phyisicans here in AZ discharge her and she will require post hospitalization rehabilitation servies (occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy), not to mention a hospitalization and transport that insurance would retroactively need to be applied to, to pay for.
She is uninsured.
Can anyone provide me resources or help advise how to acquire insurance for my mom?
