Hi all, I am currently on short term leave from work as my LO was born in December. I got a letter from my employer that because I did not pay for the premium for this month my dependent has been dropped. Obviously I am worried for my newborn. Father and I are not yet married, but I am wondering if this would be considered a qualifying event for the father to add them to his insurance? We both are so confused of what qualifying events would be and I am not worried about myself, just my baby. I am in Florida if that matters. Any insight helps!
