36F, SC, no income since October (laid off) and awaking reinstatement of SSDI – around $1,700/month.
I have a MSA Plan through Humana. Due to caring for my late father and a lot of health issues it all took a toll on my teeth. There’re all still there, there were just some decay, 2 root canals needed, redoing fillings, etc.
I’ve had $12k of dental work done so far and the dentist is recommending veneers. Humana said to wait until all of the work is completed to submit my claim under both dental and medical. Has anyone had success with this?
I’ve made sure that my medical records and doctors are documenting how my new health issues have affected my teeth. I also have documentation from my psychiatrist, PCP, GI, and of course Dentist in support of this treatment and the effects my medical conditions have had on my tooth health.
Diagnosed with: Fibro, Anxiety, Depression, Narcolepsy, UARS, GERD, IBD, Endo and Migraines.
Awaiting Confirmation: hEDS, POTS, RA, Eustachian Tube Dysfunction, AS, pancreatitis, and probably more.
