Short term health insurance until next round opens

So wondering if anyone has any advice on short term health plans in oregon, 97301. I’ve seen a few threads here that mention some things, from ok to just negative. At the moment though I don’t qualify to get in to the next round on 5/13 I believe, so I’d be forced to wait a few months.

Have looked at a variety of plans, the most prevalent seem to be from everest, pivot and united healthcare. I managed to find negative comments on these 3 on reddit, the only problem is that the plans mentioned mostly didn’t come up as the same plan, except united healthcare did have a comment on the specific plan.

On these 3 specific plan groups I was wondering if what you thought the first 2 cover? It sounds like they both cover emergency rooms, but then potentially not any hospital stays.

The uhome, united healthcare plan is probably the most different. It does seem to specifically cover icu up to 31 days, for 10k math which is apparently near the average icu cost. But it seems like it would have a max benefit on any emergency room benefit of about 5k which sounds like it would partly defeat the benefit of something worthy of getting one to most emergency room issues.

So wondering if you think I understood these correctly? And anything you’d recommend?

Info on myself, never ended up grabbing cobra so it passed its time, have been out of work a few months so no longer qualify for the access onto normal insurance at 5/13. Got a new job though recently so can now afford insurance, but company doesn’t offer any, first time not getting insurance so was somewhat banking on that. Am 29 years old, make about 130k a year at the new job. Made about 100k last year. And just looking for something that could protect me from something disastrous until I can get on a real insurance, looks like if I could get one I’d qualify for about 260 with keizer on a bronze plan.

No medical issues. Also, heard it may be cheaper to just pay for it by negotiating with the hospitals without insurance, but assume that would only be for the things that are thing that don’t require hospitalization.

Thanks for any info you can drop.
