I had surgery last month and my insurance claim says “pended” because it’s waiting on me to fill out a questionnaire about other insurance.
I made many phone calls prior to the surgery to make sure I would be covered. I am a dependent on my husbands insurance through his employer.
I have been approved for VA healthcare (60%) but getting an appointment and starting the whole process for this surgery over would have taken forever and I honestly have no clue where to start with them.
I guess my only option is to put that I have VA healthcare, which I don’t have any proof of insurance for and have no clue how I would submit it to them. Is this going to screw me over? I’m afraid I’m going to get stuck with a $38,000 bill.
