Trouble understanding when reimbursement is paid with my HRA

I’ve recently moved to the USA from Australia and my new employer is offering the following insurance plan. I understand what a HRA is (thanks to this sub!), but I’m having trouble understanding when my employer would reimburse expenses. Do I pay the first $2500? Then they cover 80%? Could someone ELI5? The more I read, the more confused I get!

Medical Mutual SuperMed HAS 5000/20 Plan

Deductible: Individual $5,000* Family $10,000*

HRA – *HRA reimburses the remaining deductible after employee pays the first $2,500 for the single plan and up to $5,000 after the family plan has reached $2700.

Out of Pocket Maximum (Includes the deductible): Individual $6,750 Family $13,500

As part of the HRA agreement, [the employer] will continue to reimburse you for portions of your deductible. Once you have met $2,500 of the individual deductible. Once you reach $2,700 of eligible medical expenses up to $5,200, or $2,500 per person and capped at $5,000 per family.

Once one person reaches their $5,000 deductible, inpatient and outpatient expenses are paid at 80% for that person. The difference of 20% will be applied until person reaches out of pocket max of $6,750 for that same person. With the HRA, the maximum out of pockets is $4,250 per person, capped at $8,500 per family.

To receive any of these subsides, you can submit your EOB from MMO showing you have reached the deductible limits and Chard Snyder will provide reimbursement.
