I’m currently on Medicaid and I would really like to get off of it so I can get better care and medical supplies. My problem is that they limit your income to around $1000/mo. You can barely pay rent for that! Let alone take care of other expenses. I need to make more than 1k/mo which DQs me from Medicaid but I don’t make enough to pay out of pocket for insurance especially with the exorbitantly high price of being T1D .
How do you cross the gap?
