What an HSA can cover and what not.

So, I’m a college student and I’m covered by my university’s health insurance plan, and my mom pays for the insurance. She has a HDHP with an HSA that she is paying into. Obviously, she can use the funds in the HSA to pay for her and my medical expenses, but we were wondering if the HSA could be used to pay for my insurance. We know it can’t be used to pay for her insurance, because that wouldn’t make sense. So, we’re wondering if the insurance counts as a qualified medical expense of a dependent of the person who has the HSA.
