What does the government do if I say my predicted income for 2021 is $12,761, just enough to not qualify for medicaid, but then I actually make less than that at the end of the year. I need ACA coverage for one year, and I probably won’t make any money at all this year. If I say I think I will make $12,761, then I make $0, will I have to pay back all the subsidies? I just need a catastrophic plan so that I don’t get wiped out in an emergency, I have no medical conditions and do not plan to use insurance at all.
