Qualifying Life Event Question

Hi there, currently I have pregnancy medicaid, but plan to use my “qualifying life event” of giving birth to apply for a marketplace plan of some sort since I’ll be losing my pregnancy medicaid in March. I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to get something pretty cheap with a tax credit considering I personally make no income (am a SAHM, my husband is the one who works). But my husband will need insurance. In this period when I enroll in coverage for me, will I be able to get a plan for me and my husband or am I only able to get a plan for just me? This is the first year we’ve been married (Aug 5, 2020) and this will be the first tax season we file as married joint filing.

Neither of us can go without insurance, as I am a liver transplant patient and he is a crohn’s patient with a stoma to care for. Right now he has no insurance because he lost his job and is set to start a new one next week.

Should he just try to get insurance through his employer or will I be able to add him to my plan after I give birth? This whole mess is so confusing to me 🤦🏻‍♀️ Please help!

Edited to add I am in Florida btw
