So my husband has been on my insurance since we got married 8 years ago. We’re in NY, both 36.
He needed to take a covid test prior to a procedure for a doctor that he started going to after we got married (so it’s always been my insurance). When he went to the place to get the test, he handed them the prescription only and got the test. Didn’t provide any other material. This was two weeks ago.
Just got a EOB from his parent’s insurance (different company than mine) for the covid test. How is something like this possible especially since he’s been on mine for years now? What’s my next step, do we contact his parents’ insurance or ours about it?
